Recipients & routing
Recipients live in MailManaged. Your application sends content and selects an optional route.
Ownership verification
Add the TXT record shown on your website’s setup page at _mailmanaged.example.com. The value is unique to your registered website. Once DNS has propagated, select Verify ownership.
Verified administrators
Each website supports ten registered recipients. Recipients can be added once website ownership is verified. Every recipient must confirm a verification email before receiving notifications; the email names your verified domain. The confirmation link lasts 24 hours; a replacement can be requested from the dashboard. To protect recipients, verification emails are limited per team and per address each day.
Groups and the default route
Create groups such as contact, operations, or billing. A message with a group slug goes only to eligible recipients in that group. An unknown or empty group is an error; it never falls back to all recipients.
Without a group flag, the website’s configurable default group applies. If you have not selected a default group, all verified, unsuppressed recipients receive the message.
Address suppression
Hard bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribes suppress delivery to the affected address. Suppression remains in effect if a recipient is removed and added again. Contact support if an address needs review.
Team permissions
Owners control billing. Owners and administrators manage websites, recipient groups, and sending tokens. Members can review website setup and delivery history.
